UN Is Hiring Specialists To Help Virginia Governor Enforce Controversial Law

The United Nations’ most recent job posting is very alarming, they are looking for folks with experience in breaking up armed militias, seizing guns and reintegrating those taken into custody back into society.

This job posting is normal for the UN that executes these missions in third world countries around the world but, the latest listing in America posted after Christmas is causing concern.

“The position is located in the Disarmament, Demobilization and Reintegration (DDR) Section of the Office of Rule of Law and Security Institutions, within the Department of Peacekeeping Operations in New York,” according to the job posting, which runs through February 2020. “New York is classified as a hardship ‘H’ duty station and family duty station. The incumbent reports to and is under the overall supervision of the DDR Section Chief.”

The posting states that the applicant will execute “two to three missions” that will entail technical assessment and assistance to peace negotiations, and work with other UN task forces “for the establishment of a new peacekeeping mission with a potential DDR component.”

The DDR/ “Disarmament, Demobilization and Reintegration Officer” will give “headquarters support in planning the civilian and military logistics support for DDR,” and would help develop the “initial DDR functional strategy and concept of operations for further development into a full program by the DDR component and the National DDR Commission.”

The only language needed for the job is that the applicant speaks English.

The UN job post has occurred as Virginia gun owners have declared that they are forming local militias to defend their 2nd Amendment rights. The bill introduced by state Democrats, that were elected after Democrat presidential candidate Michael Bloomberg dumped millions into local elections. The bill bans semi-automatic rifles, magazines, and other gun parts, it demands residents give up their property to comply with the law and there is no grandfather clause for gun owners.

Local municipal and county governments have passed “Second Amendment Sanctuary” resolutions which declare local law enforcement will not comply with any law that violates the US constitution. Tazewell County supervisors took things even further and said that it will start a militia if there to push back against any gun confiscation.

“It’s a strong message to our legislators to let them know that we don’t want to see any changes in our gun laws,” Tazewell County Sheriff Brian Hieatt told the television station. “So we’re seeing county after county doing the same thing and passing similar resolutions, to say that we do not want to infringe on our rights to have our weapons.”

Gov. Ralph Northam promised that there will be “consequences” for local law enforcement who refuse to enforce the state gun ban. With the timing of the new job posting from the UN you gotta wonder just what the incredibly liberal Governor has in store, the UN isn’t hiring those “experts” inside the USA for no reason. It appears that the Governor is enjoying the fact that he is going to make an example of these gun owners and if I was to guess set precedence for other states to do this in the future.
